I’m dedicating the month of November to all yoga Newbies!
Whether you tried yoga once and hated it, are considering your first class, or are seeking a way to fall back in love with yoga, this month is all about breaking down the basics for starting (or restarting) a yoga practice.
One of the most common points of resistance about yoga is the anxiety that you “won’t know what to do” once you’re in class.
There is definitely a certain language and lingo associated with yoga, and it can be intimidating.
That’s why today I’m breaking down one of the most commonly used (and least understood) words in yoga:
P R A N A
If you’ve never heard the word, let this be an introduction to one of the primary concepts of the yoga practice.
And if you have heard it before, I hope this can help clarify your understanding and appreciation for its meaning.
(And look out below the video for a challenge, from me to you…)
Put your wisdom to work:
Now that you know what prana is…here’s my challenge to you:
Leave me a comment below (or on the JW Facebook page) and tell me one thing in your life, office, or home that has strong prana and one thing that has weak prana. Feel like sharing a photo or two? Even better!
Love and lightsabers,
